Ghibli Museum

My visit to the
Ghibli Museum

Well it had been a longtime wish of mine, to be able to visit the museum of the studio, who's work has had a profound influence to me as an artist. and big thanks to Momo and Sid for making it happen. ^ ^

So, when we entered through front who was there to great us?
none other than TOTORO >^____^<

was sitting in the ticket booth. Waiting to take our tickets and let us in.

Then, we proceeded to enter the museum. At which time we were told we were not allowed to take photographs inside. It was so disappointing.

The design of the place was like beign in the ghibli movies.

While inside, their were exhibits on the history of animation. another dedicated to animated classic "Heidi, Girl of the Alps". Another was an art studio, possibly could've been a recreation of Miyazaki's studio. It was filled tons of sketches all over the place, and shelves filled Miyazaki's favorite books and films. There was such an appretion for the art of animation, with plenty for everyone to see. And we were also treated to a Ghibli Short, at the ghibli theater inside the museum.

Before we went to the roof though, we had to stop for a quick drink.^ ^ Once on the roof we ran into the robot from Laputa: Castle in the Sky.

And finally no visit to the Ghibli Museum is complete with out a visit to the Ghibli Cafe^ ^
